2007-4-15 2003-7-24 The Proprietary House, located in Perth Amboy, New Jersey was the official residence of the Royal Governor of New Jersey, William Franklin. This historic restoration is owned by the State of New Jersey, administered by the Department of Environmental Protection and maintained by the Proprietary House Association. It is open for public tours to show off the historical heritage.
